Position at SBM Management

SBM is looking for a hands-on individual to help develop this new arm of the marketing and sales team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and providing the analytic direction on strategic initiatives, with a focus on transformational outcomes and helping guide analysts to improve our marketing programs

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze new contract data and growth opportunities and channel performance through a marketing dashboard
  • Develop new reporting that enables the marketing and sales team to capitalize quickly on new insights
  • Define and manage the analytic roadmap to support the marketing and sales team’s strategic objectives
  • Work closely with marketing and sales leaders to both inform strategy and guide day-to-day optimization recommendations
  • Automate the process from identifying the growth opportunities, implementing analytics driven tactics to delivering end results
  • Present recommendations to leaders in various functions to best display the data that tells the story
  • Collaborate to shape business and marketing plans as needed
  • Evaluate new and alternate approaches, models and tools, working closely with cross-functional colleagues

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years hands-on experience in marketing analytics and/or quantitative business analytics capacities.
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, operations research, computer science or engineering.
  • 5+ years of professional data preparation and analytics experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience using data-building and statistical programming languages
  • Ability to simplify complex analyses into terms that are easily accessible and impactful in both written and verbal communication
  • Intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, hard-working, and an on-point business intuition
