Job Overview
As SBM’s senior relationship owner, this role operates at the executive level: defining long-term strategy, making high-judgment decisions, and influencing outcomes across functions and geographies. The SVP, Strategic Partnerships will own the full business relationship, including growth, retention, and recovery of past customers, while positioning SBM’s value propositions to accelerate expansion across all verticals.
Roles & Responsibilities

• Own the Executive Relationship: Act as SBM’s senior liaison to JLL’s global leadership. Build trust-based partnerships with C-suite and vertical leaders to identify shared goals, unlock new opportunities, and deepen collaboration.
• Deliver Growth & Retention: Build and execute a strategic plan that expands SBM’s footprint within JLL-managed portfolios. Drive profitable growth through renewals, expansions, and cross-sell opportunities across all verticals.
• Recover and Rebuild: Proactively identify and re-engage former customers, restoring confidence through improved delivery, measurable ROI, and data-driven storytelling.
• Think Big & Drive Innovation: Position SBM’s 4insite technology, sustainability initiatives, and performance data as differentiators that strengthen JLL’s IFM value proposition.
• Lead Through Others: Mentor and develop a national team of Account Directors and Account Executives, elevating their ability to build executive-level relationships and deliver operational excellence.
• Earn Trust and Influence Without Authority: Operate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to align priorities and deliver for customers at scale.
• Measure What Matters: Own the business review rhythm with JLL — revenue growth, retention, margin, satisfaction, and innovation metrics — ensuring data-driven visibility for both organizations.

Qualification

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 15+ years leading large-scale, enterprise partnerships or IFM accounts (global experience preferred).
- A track record of inventing new mechanisms, simplifying complexity, and delivering sustained results through teams.
- Experience managing P&L or multi-million-dollar business units.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven ability to think strategically and act decisively in complex, matrixed environments.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of JLL, real estate services, and integrated facilities management ecosystems.
