Position at SBM Management

The Chief of Staff will play a critical role directly supporting the CEO. You will help carry out business initiatives that support the company’s growth and transformation. The role is a highly strategic and facilitative position that require you to build strong relationships with senior leadership team members


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Be an effective liaison with the senior leadership team in progressing projects, opportunities and gaining approvals
  • Prepare and review executive presentations, reports, and documents for the CEO
  • Manage escalations and support resolving issues as they are identified taking the necessary steps to resolve and putting measures in place to fix route cause and future prevention
  • Coordinates activities with other department heads and provides staff assistance to the senior executive team
  • Represents the CEO in various meetings that he cannot attend and provides the necessary follow-up
  • Serves as the CEO liaison ensuring the accurate, proper, and timely flow of information to and from the senior leadership team members
  • Help drive a cohesive approach aligning to Change Management activities including and supporting communications planning
  • Helps establish accountability practices across the business and maximize performance through extending the CEO’s surface area and reach
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Education and/ or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5+ years of experience
  • Exceptional executive presence, with ability to engage in dialogue and make high impact presentations at C-suite level.
  • Expertise and deep experience in driving transformation to achieve specific business imperatives.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing, working with, and coaching effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, interpersonal, relationship-building, influencing, decision making and negotiation skills.
