Position at SBM Management

We are looking for a talented individual with experience in managing and monitoring the performance of privately held operating business and real estate development activities within expected parameters, capital plans and performance targets.  The successful candidate will have led financial management, administrative oversight, risk management, and income tax planning for a Family Office or closely held operating businesses and real estate development entities.


Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains PFS for Principal in traditional bank and internal formats and updates quarterly.
  • Maintains Overall Capital Plan for all business lines and  other investments.
  • Monitors all lines of business and investments to ensure that they meet performance expectations.
  • Key stakeholder in income tax planning and compliance for all lines of business and investments.
  • Key stakeholder in entity formation/entity management and reporting issues.
  • Key stakeholder in routine legal/litigation issues and support.
  • Key stakeholder for risk management and annual insurance program review.



  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Market knowledge, strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, technical skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in real estate development financial markets
  • Collaborative, team player who is also able to project manage and multi-task
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
