Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is searching for a dynamic Sr Transitions Manager! The Senior Transition Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated project or program to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.     

Responsibilities            

  • Lead project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
  • Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel
  • Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required
  • Prepare project reports for management, client, or others
  • Confer with client to provide technical advice, customer service and to resolve problems
  • Coordinate project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies and when necessary, union management
  • Heavy Travel is required for this position

Qualifications            

  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 8+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: $100,000-110,000 per year            

Shift: Full time
