SVP, Manufacturing Solutions

Corporate Leadership Jobs United States

Description

Position at SBM Management

SBM Management Services is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Vice President, Manufacturing Solutions to lead and grow one of SBM’s most operationally diverse verticals — supporting complex manufacturing environments across aerospace, industrial production, consumer packaged goods (CPG), food manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, and global supply chain operations.

This leader will position SBM’s operational excellence, safety culture, sustainability performance, and data-driven transparency as core differentiators in manufacturing settings that rely on precision, uptime, compliance, and reliable labor execution. Working closely with SBM’s operational leaders across aerospace, CPG, industrial manufacturing, and high-volume production environments, the SVP will translate operational performance into commercial growth, expanding existing accounts, capturing new enterprise customers, and elevating SBM’s standing across the manufacturing sector.

A key component of this role is building the vertical go-to-market strategy, creating scalable commercial playbooks, and establishing account-based planning (ABP) for strategic enterprise accounts spanning aerospace leaders like Boeing and Lockheed Martin, industrial and semiconductor manufacturers like LAM Research and GE, and global CPG leaders like Mars, Nestlé, and Procter & Gamble.

You will partner with IFM organizations such as CBRE and JLL while engaging directly with facility, engineering, production, EHS, quality, continuous improvement, and procurement executives to position SBM’s capabilities as essential to manufacturing reliability, safety, and performance consistency.

Roles & Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Develop the Manufacturing vertical go-to-market strategy, including customer segmentation, industry positioning, target prioritization, and manufacturing-specific value propositions across aerospace, CPG, industrial, and advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Build scalable commercial playbooks covering prospecting, enterprise growth, renewals, pricing strategy, production support expansion, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Lead account-based planning (ABP) for strategic manufacturing enterprises, aligning SBM’s capabilities with customer production schedules, throughput requirements, safety mandates, ESG goals, and new-facility construction.
  • Expand the vertical through direct enterprise pursuits, while strengthening IFM-aligned growth opportunities in collaboration with CBRE, JLL, and other strategic partners
  • Translate operational excellence including safety performance, manufacturing uptime support, route efficiencies, audit performance, and productivity gains into strong commercial narratives in partnership with manufacturing operations leaders.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop manufacturing-specific messaging, case studies, pursuit materials, and thought leadership that elevate SBM’s visibility and credibility within the manufacturing sector.
  • Partner with the 4insite team to turn operational data into compelling insights, showcasing efficiency gains, safety improvements, audit readiness, and performance analytics that differentiate SBM as a strategic asset rather than a commodity service provider.
  • Develop the vertical talent strategy, determining when pipeline maturity supports adding account executives, BD resources, vertical SMEs, or regional commercial support.
  • Support innovation by piloting technologies that improve safety compliance, labor efficiency, real-time production support visibility, and environmental sustainability performance.
  • Coordinate global pursuits with Regional Directors across Europe, APAC, and Latin America to support multinational manufacturers and ensure globally consistent delivery.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of leadership in facilities management, life sciences operations, or enterprise account leadership within pharmaceutical, biotech, or CDMO environments.
  • Proven success leading large operational teams and driving enterprise-level partnerships.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Deep understanding of safety programs, quality systems, audit readiness, continuous improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and manufacturing regulatory environments.
  • Proven success building go-to-market strategies, BD playbooks, prospecting motions, and ABP frameworks for enterprise manufacturing clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow complex manufacturing accounts and navigate matrixed organizations that include Operations, Engineering, Quality, CI, Procurement, EHS, and Production leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate operational excellence into compelling executive-ready narratives.
  • Experience working within IFM models and supporting IFM-aligned pursuits without direct revenue ownership.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders across manufacturing, engineering, production, and EHS functions.
