Responsibilities
 
Major responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
  • End of month processes including recurring journals, accruals & depreciation calculations, WIP calculations, G/L Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation
  • Various statutory reporting including BAS, FBT, Superannuation Returns, Payroll Tax Returns
  • Annual financial budgets & forecasts
  • Unit cost and unit price review of resources and items
  • Financial Reporting including sales invoicing report, management report and other various reports as required
  • Liaising with outsourced payroll office and checking weekly payroll
  • Various Accounts Receivable and Payable tasks as required
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor of Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with minimum 1 year of experience in Australian accounting
