Assistant Accountant
Description
Responsibilities
Major responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- End of month processes including recurring journals, accruals & depreciation calculations, WIP calculations, G/L Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation
- Various statutory reporting including BAS, FBT, Superannuation Returns, Payroll Tax Returns
- Annual financial budgets & forecasts
- Unit cost and unit price review of resources and items
- Financial Reporting including sales invoicing report, management report and other various reports as required
- Liaising with outsourced payroll office and checking weekly payroll
- Various Accounts Receivable and Payable tasks as required
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor of Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with minimum 1 year of experience in Australian accounting
