Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Team Member to join our Custom team. The Custom team focuses on high-end residential properties, primarily in Victoria. This role focuses on quoting, project ordering and operational support of our onshore team to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with floor plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of window furnishings is a bonus but not required.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Quoting and pricing: Assisting our onshore team with creation and adjustments of quotes for our high end customers
  • Reading and Interpreting Floorplans: Evaluating and marking up floor plans of high-end residential homes
  • Creating measure sheets and orders: Generate and process measure sheets and orders based on client requirements and project specifications.
  • Reviewing orders: Collaborate with the operations team to review and verify orders for accuracy before submission.
  • Handling reworks and alterations: Assist in managing reworks, alterations, or changes to orders, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines.
  • Monitoring workflows: Track order progress through our systems to ensure timely delivery and invoicing.
  • Liaising with suppliers and Installers Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and resolve any supply chain issues.
 
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with floor plans: Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and window schedules.
  • Proficiency with computer systems: Quick learner with the ability to master new software platforms.
  • Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and precision in quoting, ordering, and supply chain management.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with suppliers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Team player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Problem-solving skills: Aptitude for resolving issues related to orders, supply chain, or workflow challenges.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of window furnishings or related construction industry experience.
