Marketing Specialist (SO2)

The ideal candidate will:

  • Exhibit high standards
  • Have excellent writing skills and be able to write in different styles and ‘voices’ for varied clients
  • Have strong and verbal and written communication skills
  • Have an ability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks
  • Have a strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines
  • Must be willing to work independently
  • Must be comfortable telecommuting,
  • Must be proficient with social media basics (specifically Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest)
  • Have experience conducting extensive Internet research
  • Have familiarity with simple graphic design using a tool like Canva.
  • Have excellent interpersonal relations
  • Video production and editing skills are a plus and may be utilized in this position.

Candidates must have exceptionally strong:

  • Phone/Video Meeting (Zoom) Skills

  • Communication Skills
  • Organizational Skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal handholding
  • Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Duties may include, but not be limited to:

  • Social Media Management including strategy creation, research, writing posts, creating graphics and videos, and hashtag research
  • Blog Writing and Research
  • Email Marketing
  • Digital Advertising (Google and social media advertising)
  • Simple Graphic Design Using Canva
  • Copywriting for a Wide Variety of Tasks/Projects including websites
  • Video Production and Editing Using Simple Templates
  • Analytic reports using Google Analytics and/or social media analytics available
