Description

You will be writing and maintaining automated test cases to assess and ensure security and performance of applications meets the required standards and criteria.

You will be assisting the Enterprise Software team in executing QA processes and strategies within the team to ensure we release the highest quality products to our customers.

You will be responsible for ensuring the products we develop meets our business and customer’s quality assurance needs and standards.

You will perform functional and regression testing as well as the development of test management lifecycle and processes through plans/scripts/cases/scenarios/automation-suites and reporting

You will ensure every product release meets the desired quality and security parameters by applying testing standards and best practices.

You will engage with the testing community within Symbio to share, learn and improve QA practices with the Enterprise segment

 

Qualifications and Experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in software testing
  • QA is your passion, and you are motivated by building maintainable QA test automation suites
  • Strong experience and exposure to testing large scale and complex applications
  • Experience with configuring, writing and maintaining automation tests and scripts using Cypress
  • Exposure to API testing tools like Postman/SoapUI/ReadyApi is essential
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and processes is essential
  • Exposure to security and performance testing tools like ZAP, Jmeter
  • Hands on SQL experience is desirable
  • Exposure to testing responsive design through cross-browser/cross-device testing is desirable
  • Exposure to Test management lifecyle and tools like Jira, Zephyr or others in an Agile project environment
  • Knowledge of QA standards and compliance frameworks like ISO 25001/25010, ISO 29119 & WCAG is a plus
  • You understand that robust QA is more than just test automation
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced and geographically distributed environment
