Functional Marketo Consultant
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment & Strategy Development:
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of current Marketo processes, workflows, and integrations.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop a strategic plan to enhance platform effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide recommendations for optimising the use of Marketo including database and partition, and related marketing tools.
- Review areas for automation and enhancement
- Define clear marketing attribution reports and insights
Platform review and improvement:
- Update and tidy up templates and forms, removing outdated and branded content from the design studio to ensure a fresh and cohesive look.
- Eliminate unnecessary partition setups while preserving all email history and data for seamless access and continuity.
- Remove duplicate data, ensuring that subscription preferences are correctly aligned with Nexon standards and properly synced.
- Implement comprehensive tracking and integrate with Dynamics 365 to synchronise contact, account, and opportunity data, enabling robust attribution modelling and reporting.
- Make recommendations and implement automations to better manage events via text messages, nurture flows through the platform to support cross sell automation.
Implementation:
- Implement necessary fields to sync or remove with Dynamics 365
- Lead and execute the implementation of approved Marketo strategies and enhancements.
- Oversee the integration of Marketo with other marketing technologies (Dynamics 365) and ensure seamless adoption.
- Develop and manage project plans, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time.
Training & Enablement:
- Design and deliver training programs to upskill the marketing team on new Marketo features, strategies, and best practices.
- Create comprehensive documentation and resources to support ongoing team development.
- Provide hands-on support and coaching to ensure the marketing team can independently manage new processes.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, and IT, to ensure alignment and support for Marketo initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Performance Measurement & Optimisation:
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of implemented Marketo strategies.
- Continuously monitor and analyze marketing performance within Marketo, making data-driven recommendations for ongoing improvement.
- Ensure all Marketo activities are aligned with overall business objectives and drive measurable results.
Documentation & Process Integration:
- Document all integration processes and workflows with the ICT team to ensure no breaks in Marketo operations.
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation to facilitate smooth transitions and ongoing operations.
- Ensure all documentation is accessible and understandable for future reference by both marketing and ICT teams.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Marketing Consultant or in a similar role, with a focus on Marketo.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing Marketo strategies and technologies.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, CRM systems, marketing automation, and data analytics.
- Excellent training and coaching skills with experience in designing and delivering training programs.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
