What YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE
Marketing Technology Management:
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of marketing technology platforms: Braze and Talon One, working closely with our technology team.
- Ensure the seamless integration of marketing technology tools with other systems to optimize data flow and user experience to achieve goals.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and external partners to ensure successful technology deployments and support.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security. Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ability to handle API triggers, Custom event, App configuration, Custom attributes, Campaign workflows, Access management, Folder hierarchy, tracking reports, message center.
- Implementing or hands-on with IP-warmup, Migration campaigns is necessary.
- Expert in campaign-related activities including Webhook, API Trigger based, Action campaign setup, building landing pages, scripting, setting up ETL and dataflows.
- Should have experience in campaign integration with other tools using web services (Soap, Rest APIs) and Scripting languages.
- Ability to work independently and work directly with Marketing teams.
- Analyze the effectiveness of Digital Marketing deliverables, measures against objectives and reports results.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise and implement solutions to mitigate future problems.
Data Integration & Analysis:
- Design and implement data integration strategies to unify data across marketing systems and channels in conjunction with our technology team.
- Utilize data analytics to generate insights on marketing performance, customer behavior, and campaign effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
Campaign Delivery & Optimization:
- Lead a team of Martech specialists to continuously deliver our Email BAU program; as well as
targeted Loyalty & CRM marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Lead the team to develop connected journey’s across all targeted channels to improve the customer experience.
- Subject matter expert on audience segmentation out of Braze & Talon One; with a stretch into complex audiences being developed in Snowflake
- Establish rigorous A/B and multivariate testing plans to test subject lines, content, cadence, audience segmentation, and timing to constantly improve results.
- Driving continuous improvement in the end-to-end campaign process including campaign design, build, QA and deployment.
- Hands on development experience in Email, Push (In-App, Web-push) and SMS campaigns/Canvas.
- Seek continuous improvement in delivering campaigns via dynamically driven automated workflows.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to enhance results.
Technology Strategy & Innovation:
- Stay updated on emerging marketing technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement to inform the business.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the marketing technology stack and support strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain best practices and documentation for marketing technology processes and usage.
Training & Support:
- Provide training and support to your team of Martech Specialists, as well as marketing team members on the use of marketing technology tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to marketing systems and tools.
- Ensure customer-centric thinking in all activities
- Ensure seamless integration of marketing technology tools does not impact the customer
- Optimise and enhance data-driven, personalised communications to drive customer engagement and satisfaction
- Ensure communications are simple and customer-friendly, understanding industry and best-practice and make recommendations for improvements
Driving Commercial & Operational Achievement
- Deliver agreed fiscal outcomes for martech delivery and campaigns
- Drive engagement and revenue goals for all campaigns
- Identify operational efficiencies

- Partner with the Senior CRM & Loyalty Manager to ensure all activity complies with all external regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to:
- ACMA/ADMA/Privacy Principles
- Privacy Act
- Trade Practise / Australian Consumer Law
What YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE
- Proven experience in marketing technology, including hands-on experience with various marketing platforms: Braze, Talon One, Snowflake & Google Analytics
- Expertise in Braze marketing platform; Braze Certification preferred
- Strong understanding of data integration, marketing automation, and CRM systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and SQL is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with CRM integration, data migration, and API usage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Expertise in Campaign Orchestration, Lifecycle Programs and Personalization
- Understanding of data security and privacy technologies
- Experience in Personalization in campaigns with Liquid/API trigger fields
- Offer deep knowledge in Liquid syntax, Webhook, API, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Excellent communication skills
- Being able to work in teams, manage them and adopt to the current process is necessary.

- Good understanding of all Legal, Privacy and Trade Practice Laws
