Description

Responsibilities continuation:

  • Assessment of JSOX as per instruction from parent entity's instruction and recommend the process improvement
  • Internal Monitoring - executing the monitoring activity and report the outcome to FC and wider group
  • Policy review and update
  • New acounting standard implementation (ie. Climate reporting). Working collaboratively with global team, support the new accounting standard implementation.
  • Insurance support, such as annual insurance renewal, attending insurance queries
  • Finance partner for overheads BU. Support in budget / forecast and actual analysis
  • External and Internal Audit support
  • Ad-hoc project for finance and compliance
  • FP&A Western market support, including FP&A tasks for USA and EU entities
  • Adhoc Tasks as advised

Key Qualifications

  • CPA or CA is a must
  • 5+ years Big 4 experience in auditing similar org or similar org
  • Retail, FMCG or Manufacturing 
  • Strong knowledge in Accounting, IFRS
  • Strong communication skill both verbal and written in English
  • Business partnering skills with ability to support the business unit owners proactively in timely budget preparation, look for opportunity to improve PL
  • Result orientated and ability to work to deadlines under pressure.  Ability to priorities tasks.
  • Strong financial communication skill with ability to communicate complex financial matters to non-finance colleagues in simple terms
  • Accuracy and high attention to detail
  • Analytical thinking with proven problem-solving capability
  • Proven budgeting skills
  • Work autonomously, understand the bigger picture of the business and apply to work
  • Change management skills, ability to adopt in changes
  • Strong microsoft skills including,  Excel, Office and Word 
  • Knowledge in JSOX and Internal monitoring
  • Experience in policy review and development
  • Ability for continuous process improvement
  • Play a leaderhship role to set up the culture in the office
  • Strong IFRS knowledge, with ability to apply IFRS in practical manner
