As the Digital Performance Specialist – focusing largely on SEM you will be someone who loves to push the boundaries on what search can do for a business and thrive working in a progressive business unit of a market leader company. You will work predominantly on local automotive dealer campaigns where ROI and optimisation to conversions is key to the success of the campaigns.


We are looking for an SEM expert to manage all pay-per-click (PPC) marketing activities.

The Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist will manage all paid search campaigns on Google and Bing. A successful SEM Specialist will effectively manage the paid search budget and work with the Digital team & client services teams in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customers.

This role has the opportunity to build into all-round digital specialist in SEM, Social & Display campaign management.


  • At least 1-2 years' experience in a Google adwords / search engine maketing, with other Digital Marketing experience highly regarded.
  • Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google and Bing
  • Experience in Google Merchant Centre and best practice in Google Shopping Ads management and set-up.
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing & measurement
  • In-depth experience with bid management tools desirable
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports
  • Other social and display campaign management experience desirable
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments desirable
  • Experience in generating reports in Google Data Studio desirable & highly regarded
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking to develop high performing campaigns.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Be proactive in campaign improvements and recommendations ongoing
  • Ability to Co-ordinate campaign & ad copy build tasks to our off-shore SEM team
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure in a busy environment within a small team.
