KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES 

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and in scope 
  • To provide a friendly, knowledgeable, proactive and professional service to our clients 
  • To ensure your caseload is accurately and efficiently processed, and all targets met within the allotted timescales 
  • The provision of expert legal advice in relation to residential conveyancing matters 
  • Preparation of legal documentsrecords management, mortgage report 
  • Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence 
  • Draft, encode, or review legal documents like contracts, agreements, corporate secretary certificates, memoranda, forms, and other documents and papers as assigned 
  • Preparation and/or review documents and exhibits in preparation of dispositions, arbitrations, and trials 
  • Conducts legal research and gathers relevant information relative to court cases or projects 
  • Preparation and assisting of transfer of legal title of real property from one person to another, or the granting of an encumbrance such as a mortgage, loan, etc. 
  • Possess a flexible approach in providing support to other teams dependent upon capacity, as required 
  • Deal with post completion matters, included but not limited to applications for registration

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Degree in Law, Legal Management, or any related studies 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ worth of experience in a similar role 
  • Good understanding and knowledge in Conveyancing process 
  • Preferably with AU Mortgage, Paralegal, Loan Origination background and experience 
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in legal procedures, legal counsel, preparation of legal documents, mortgage report, etc. 
  • Fast learner
