About the role:
- Analyse customer behaviour, segments, and lifetime customer value to compile store profitability results, including foot traffic, for review by Retail Leaders.
- Provide structured monthly flash and management reporting to empower business leaders with timely decision-making information and adherence to budgets.
- Handle ad hoc reporting and queries from the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.
- Assist in reporting and communication preparations for Board Meetings.
- Offer valuable insights into the business through system skills and knowledge utilization.
- Understand financial trends and variances, offering succinct commentary on financial performance and associated business drivers.
- Ensure data integrity is maintained and identify potential areas of risk, underperformance, and improvement opportunities.
- Analyse the Profit and Loss Statement to ensure data accuracy.
- Proactively seek opportunities to leverage data-driven insights to enhance business performance.
- Support group reforecasting processes as needed.
- Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Financial Planning and Analysis Managers to understand department functions and contributions to the overall business.
- Assist different departments with strategic data reporting to aid decision-making and identify process improvements.
About you:
- Possess qualifications in finance, accounting, CPA.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial principles, data analysis, and accounting standards.
- Proficient in data visualization and presenting complex financial information.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships effectively.
