IT Project Manager
Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Lead technical proposals process addressing choices for the scope, budget, implementation and operations models to determine solution choices in BDA context.
• Well versed in Jira, expert in Jira implementation and integration of ITIL methodology like asset management, license lifecycle management and incident management.
• Define project goals, success criteria, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business leaders.
• Manage risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) to drive efficiency and process improvements.
• Monitor project performance, generate reports, and present updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and governance policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party technology integrations when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in IT project management or a related role.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and IT infrastructure.
• Strong experience with project management tools such as Jira and Microsoft Project.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
