KEY FUNCTION OF THIS ROLE

Your role of Financial Manager delivers AMAZING by managing the end-to-end accounting process, ensuring accurate reporting of financial result, managing a team of 2 and working closely with management team and reporting to Financial Controller. 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES /TASKS

  • Manage and mentor small team of 2 (Assistant accountant and Accounts Payable, not expected for the 1st 6-12 months)
  • Manage monthly end to end financial reporting. 
  • Prepare Monthly Profit & Loss statement and balance sheet.  
  • Overseeing general ledgers and accounts Payable, fix assets register.  
  • Conducting variance analysis of financial results against budget and providing meaning full commentary.  
  • Manage Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly, half-yearly, yearly basis. 
  • Provide Weekly cashflow and forecasting.  
  • Assist Commercial team with annual budgeting and planning process.  
  • Delivering Process Improvements and updated procedures.  
  • Provide Ad Hoc support for management  
  • Coordinate in external audit processes, ensuring timely and efficient execution.  

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/ CAPABILITIES

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance management Preferably in retail in industry.  
  • 3 years in retail industry Finance  
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business with CPA and CA qualification.  
  • Previous experience with AP21, Concur, Lease Eagle experience is highly desirable  
  • Proven exposure to Aust & NZ market is an advantage.  

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ROLE

  • Experience in delivering process improvements and updated policies and procedures 
  • Experience with the preparation of monthly financial reports including department P&L

  • Ability to work under pressure in multi-tasking, multi-project environment and good at adjust priorities to meet deadlines
