Primary Purpose:
  • With a strong reliance on a vast network of third-party labour hire to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of our supply chain, we are expanding our team. We seek an Offshore Payroll Manager based in our Manila office, tasked with overseeing our Labour Hire payroll management. This role is critical for to support our operations in Australia, with a particular focus on liaising and managing relationships with third-party labour hire providers.
  • The Offshore Payroll Manager at Perfection Fresh will take a proactive role in directing administrative operations, specifically focusing on managing and resolving discrepancies with third-party labour hire providers for our Labour Hire. Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness of labour costing in accordance with Australian workplace laws.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Direct Engagement with Labour Providers: Act as the primary liaison between Perfection Fresh and third-party labour hire providers, ensuring clear communication and resolution of payroll discrepancies, fostering strong, cooperative relationships.
  2. Strategic Leadership: Establish, lead, and scale the Manila-based administration team, prioritizing excellence in processing and effective management of third-party labour service providers.
  3. Accuracy and Compliance: Oversee the meticulous processing of time and attendance, aligning with the Australian Industrial Awards with a particular emphasis on auditing and reconciling third-party labour timesheets.
  4. Proactive Problem-Solving: Develop and implement strategies for resolving discrepancies and challenges arising from third-party labour hire arrangements, ensuring all parties are aligned and compliant with contractual obligations.
  5. Financial Oversight: Provide detailed daily, weekly, and monthly costings/financial reports for operations, facilitating strategic decision-making and effective budget management (With support from Planning & Analysis Team).
  6. Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to review and enhance administrative processes, particularly those related to third-party labour hire, ensuring continuous improvement in accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  7. Collaborative Team Environment: Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the administration team, and across function, to achieve streamlined processes and operational excellence.
essential requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, HR, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in payroll (administration) management, with a significant focus on third-party labour hire arrangements.
  • Ability to interpret Australian Industrial Awards.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with external partners effectively.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Proven leadership and team development capability.
  • Knowledge of Labour hire and contractor practices.
