IAS Accountant / Bookkeeper (SO2)
Description
We are looking for energetic BAS Agents and/or Bookkeepers to lend their expertise and client focus to our Business Services & Accounting Advisory Team. You will be looking over a significant segment of the client base working with our vibrant team of consultants.

Hardworking and knowledgeable you will be competent at providing clients with all of their compliance and advisory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Hardworking and knowledgeable you will be competent at providing clients with all of their compliance, accounting and advisory requirements
- Manage and reconcile financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Process invoices, expenses, and payments in a timely manner
- Prepare financial statements and submit lodgments to meet tax obligations
- Manage client debtors and creditors
- Manage client payroll and employer obligations
- Prepare BAS and IAS lodgement
Experience:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping
- BAS Agent preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Accounting Packages including Xero/MYOB
- Strong knowledge of relevant Australians GST, PAYG and NES legislation
- Excellent written & spoken English
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Demonstrated statistical, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Experience working with multiple clients through an Australian based firm
