Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager the successful candidate will be a member of a high performing diverse team and responsible for:

  • Preparation of Group Monthly Management Report
  • Processing month-end and year-end work papers and journals
  • General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
  • Preparation  of reporting to key stakeholders including - 
    • Performance Results
    • Profit/Cost Centre reporting
    • Region Performance Reporting
    • Retail Business Surveys
  • Assisting with collation of year- end audit queries documentation
  • Assisting stores and internal stakeholders with general ledger queries
  • Ad hoc projects as required

 Qualifications & Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CA/CPA qualification with 5+ years’ experience
  • Exposure to Australian Payroll and Payroll Tax calculation – desirable but not necessary
  • Understanding and experience in statutory reporting
  • Understanding of various entity types and statutory obligations
  • Experience in using technology for automation and streamlining of systems and processes
  • Can do attitude and open to learning new things
  • Have strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with financial related records
