Major Responsibilities

· Own the technical domain of test automation within Portals and Payments teams
· Mentoring other team members in the domain of test automation
· Review of test code written by other team members
· Provide leadership to the quality team on best practices and drive continuous improvement around our processes and tooling.
· Implement and maintain automated testing using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
· Be involved in the delivery of software using an iterative Agile approach using small batch sizes to deliver working software frequently in order to gain insights and plan future releases
· Participate and engage in the regular agile rituals to improve team collaboration and support continuous improvement
· Assist the team to implement good practices around testing to support the delivery of high-quality solutions
· Assist in maintaining documentation (design and as-builts) of the payment systems including updating existing documents for any changes as well as creating new documentation as required
· Liaising with stakeholders for the purposes of understanding a requirement fully to ensure that the best solution is provided
· Be the gate keeper of quality to ensure that only working and error free (within error budget tolerances) software makes it into our production systems to ensure minimal impact to our clients.
· Reporting of quality metrics throughout the software development lifecycle

Skill Requirements:

- Technical expertise on web based automation frameworks such as selenium or Codeceptjs
- Familiarity of web driver protocols and headless testing
- Experienced in doing stress and performance testing on websites
- Experienced in using automated visual regression testing tools such as Chromatic

 
Good to have

- Some knowledge of web application security testing
- Familiarity of API automated testing framework such as Karate
- Some experience in setting up and running automate tests as part of CICD
