Lead QA
Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Quality Assurance Strategy:
o Define and drive the overall QA strategy for the Orchestra platform, beginning with
manual testing but with a strong focus on automating all or most of the test suite over
time.
o Lead and mentor a small QA team (10% of the time) while contributing directly to test
development and execution (90% of the time).
o Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Microsoft Playwright
and integrate test results with reporting frameworks like Allure.
o Experiment with and adopt AI-based QA testing tools (e.g., Testim) to optimize and scale
the testing process.

• Automation and Optimization:
o Prioritize automation in testing processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and
scalability.
o Continuously evaluate testing frameworks and tools to ensure they align with the
organization’s goals and evolving needs.
o Ensure test coverage across all critical aspects of the platform, including functionality,
performance, security, and usability.
• Application Support:
o Assist with managing the queue of reported issues, feature requests, and user feedback.
o Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues, collaborating with development and
product teams to resolve them efficiently.
o Act as a bridge between end-users and technical teams to ensure clear communication
and timely issue resolution.
• Agile Collaboration:
o Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning with the Orchestra Software Product
team to align QA efforts with product goals.
o Work collaboratively within cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring QA processes are
integrated into the development lifecycle.
• SDLC and Tooling:
o Utilize Azure DevOps for managing test cases, issue tracking, and collaboration across the
software delivery lifecycle.
o Leverage Azure Cloud to optimize testing environments and workflows.
• Passion and Industry Insight:
o Exhibit a passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement, staying updated on
emerging trends in QA and testing.
o Experience or knowledge in the telecom industry, including CDR files or telecom billing
systems, is a valuable plus.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent
practical experience.
• Over 10 years of professional experience in QA engineering, with a proven track record of
developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies.
• Expertise in automated testing tools and frameworks, particularly Microsoft Playwright and
Allure.

testing.
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques and the ability to transition manual processes to
automation.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing test cases and issue tracking.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience in the telecom industry, particularly with CDR file processing or telecom billing
