Description

The Processor, Payment Services is responsible for assisting the Payments team in all activities involving the support of the payments. The primary focus will be on reconcilements, daily operations support, customer inquiries, transaction processing, and maintaining customer files.

Payment Services is primarily responsible for assisting with all activities involving the support of the payment process. The primary focus will be on reconcilements, daily operations support, customer inquiries, transaction processing, and maintaining customer files.

Essential Functions:

  • Processes / reconciles transactions related to product/functional area.
  • Performs various clerical tasks associated with Payments.
  • Ensures that department standards and deadlines are met on a daily basis.
  • Answers questions for department and internal employees.
  • Maintains files related to job responsibilities.
  • Processes mail as required.
  • Employees in this role do not take customer payments.
  • Employees in this role do not take customer payments.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Education -
    • Bachelor's Degree: Business, Marketing, Finance, or equivalent field.
    • or equivalent work experience: Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience -
    • 0-3 years Payments, Loss Mitigation, Fulfillment, and/or collections experience.
    • 0-3 years Auto Finance industry experience.
  • Skills & Abilities -
    • Proficient in basic PC applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
    • Intermediate to advanced typing and data entry processing skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to educate customer on a service or product solution.
    • Ability to work effectively as a team member.
    • Ability to respond to internal and external requests as needed.
    • Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and instructions of management.
