Develops and executes marketing strategies and plans. Identifies and develops key insights into clients, the marketplace, competitors, macro tends and market opportunities. Analyzes marketplace trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth, determines product requirements and defines targeted customer segments and associated messaging. Creates and/or coordinates the production and distribution of advertising and promotional materials. Establishes, implements and ensures consistent branding standards throughout product lines, promotional materials and events.

Job Function: User Experience

Examines the ways that users experience products and services supported by the Marketing department. Ensures consistency in branding guidelines across multiple brand identities to allow for optimal interaction by users.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The User Experience defines the UX strategy and identifies KPI's, leads design and research for a variety of products and services supported by the Marketing department. The Sr. associate will be responsible for executing on the strategic planning of all UX department processes and be committed to the consistency of these guidelines across multiple brand identities.

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitates project kickoffs and workshops for information discovery, storytelling, project methodology, stakeholder empathy.
  • Conducts whiteboard sessions, wireframing, and protyping to design experiences.
  • Able to understanding complex information structure and create detailed information architecture.
  • Coordinates or performs UX research such as interviews, usability studies, and competitor analyses.
  • Advocates for user-first design and Design Thinking in all settings.
  • Accountable for measuring, monitoring, and improving UX KPIs such as time-on-task, conversion rate, customer satisfaction
  • Directs UX strategy, assists project management and product ownership through project methodology.
  • Maintains stakeholder relationships for proper communication and project sponsorship
  • Drives project timing along with project management.
  • Mentors other UX team members.

  • Education -
    • Bachelor's Degree: Marketing, Business, Finance, or equivalent degree.
    • or equivalent work experience: Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience -
    • 9-12 years Web Design, UX/UI Design and/or HCI design
    • Financial Services or Auto Finance Industry experience.
  • Skills & Abilities -
    • Advanced understanding of responsive design and related coding techniques (Bootstrap is a plus).
    • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator.
    • Excellent project management skills.
    • Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast paced environment; including counterparts across global organization.
    • Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment; ability to listen, evaluate different view points and influence others.
    • Ability to work independently with a high level of critical thinking skills.
    • Extremely strong written abilities, with consideration of creative writing preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience with wireframe, workflow and information architecture design.
    • Demonstrated experience conducting user research and analysis.
    • Demonstrated experience crafting A/B testing strategies and implementing analytics funnels.
    • Ability to code prototypes in HTML and CSS.
    • Must be comfortable interfacing with developers, designers, product managers and non-technical executives.
    • Keen eye to preserve integrity of the design throughout the entire development process.
    • Self-motivator/flexible/team player.
    • Ability to work in a fast pace environment with multiple projects.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequently: Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Occasional moving and lifting of equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
