I AM INTERESTED IN A CAREER AT SAN MANUEL BAND OF MISSION INDIANS (SMBMI) OR SAN MANUEL INDIAN BINGO & CASINO (SMIBC). WHAT CAN I EXPECT NOW THAT I'VE SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION?

You should be notified at the following four points in the application process. An email will be sent to the primary email address entered on your Jobvite Account information.

If it is determined that your application does not meet the necessary requirements and qualifications for the particular position to which you have applied, your application and resume will still be available in our database for future searches by the Talent Acquisition team or Hiring Managers for similar positions.

WHAT IS THE SELECTION PROCESS LIKE AT SAN MANUEL?

Applicants who submit complete online applications, resumes or LinkedIn profiles, meet the minimum qualifications and experience requirements for the position, along with any other requirements, will be competitively evaluated in order to select the most suitably qualified candidates for employment. Only those applicants who demonstrate the most closely related work experience, education and training will receive further consideration for the position and referred to a Hiring Manager to participate in the selection process. The selection process may include, but is not limited to, a phone interview, an onsite interview with a Hiring Manager or Talent Acquisition, and background investigation. He or she will choose applicants to interview from the list of highly-qualified candidates.

HOW TO IMPRESS US DURING THE INTERVIEW

  1. Present a professional image and dress to impress. The dress code is business casual to professional, depending on the position. If you are not sure about the appropriate attire to wear to your interview, feel free to ask the person you speak with when you are contacted for the interview. It won’t be viewed negatively. In fact, it shows respect and interview savvy.
  2. Relax, be yourself and be honest.
  3. Be prepared to talk about your accomplishments.
