Facilities Technician
Description
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of IH facility infrastructure
- Ensure basic utilities are maintained – water, lights
- Illumination & retrofit
- Surge protector management & monitoring
- Energy management & monitoring
- Correction of Hazard – roof leaks, etc.
- Recycling program & facility cleanliness
- Ensure recycling routines are maintained - ensure wastes are properly segregated and disposed.
- Grounds / landscape management
- Pest controls & trash removal
- Others
- IH Fire Fighting system
- Furniture disposal
- Procurement of maintenance & repair supplies and/or services
- Spill Kit Inspection – management
- Any other job related duties as assigned by management.
- Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.
Required Experience
- 3 years related experience / similar position.
Preferred Education:
- Diploma / related technical or equivalent experience.
