Job title:  FACILITIES TECHNICIAN

Summary/Objective:  Focused on providing maintenance, repair, and installation of basic Facility needs.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

  1. Performs scheduled Preventative Maintenance.
  2. Assists with scheduled Filter Changes.
  3. Assists with maintaining all Compressed Air, Access Control, Security, Emergency Response, Public Address, Building Management, and Fire Control Systems.
  4. Performs repairs as needed and where capable on all Facility Related items.
  5. Participates routinely on all waste collection and recyclable collection tasks.
  6. Maintain facilities to enable associates to support overall Customer Service needs by focusing on building safety and cleanliness.
  7. Must be computer literate and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

Required Experience:

  1. 2 – 4 Years’ Experience in a maintenance or similar position.
  2. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is required.
  3. Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
  4. Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
  5. Knowledge of local and state building regulations is preferred.
  6. Prior certification or training in forklift operation, OSHA, and hazardous materials safety.
  7. Must be open to being in high-noise environments periodically during normal shift hours.
  8. CPR/First Aid/AED training

 

Education:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  2. Vocational or Technical Education is desired.

  1. On the job training as appropriate.
