Description

• Performing the in-process inspection during the stamping & insert molding.

• Performing IPA audit per audit schedule.

• General Floor Support and Quality Problem Analysis and Resolution.

• Making the judgment for the in-process product from production & finished goods from inspectors.  Also, feedback the result to manufactural quality engineering.

• Work with engineers on raw material issues in the manufacturing process, ensure prompt attention is given to potentially non-conforming products.

• Handling In-process subs quality problem and make the containment action for stock, working in-process product if necessary.

• Follow up the Human Errors, internal & external QP corrective actions implementing status.

• Product transfer inspection, sample approval, and follow up the quality of the next three batches. 

• Responsible for training the new inspectors and cross training operators at QA area, production etc.

• Updating daily, weekly and monthly inspection reports to relevant work centers. 

• Any other jobs were requested by manufactural quality engineering or management.

• Advocating the EMS policy in quality department.

• Assisting engineer and manager in setting up the EMS objectives/targets and programs。 

• Controlling, monitoring and improving the environment pollutions in QA and achieveing the legal compliance

• Assisting engineer and manager to plan, drilling and reviewing the EMS emergency response

• Supporting the EMS internal audit and external audit.

• Improving the Environment performance in inspection area.

• Updating the existing measurement programs according to the latest drawing, writing new product programs.

• Sort out the monthly stamping pin samples and insert molding samples, creating parcel ID number in the system, and place in the sample retention room for at least two years. 

•  Use SPC tools to manage process quality。 

•  Use molding knowledge, electroplating knowledge, tooling knowledge to handle process quality anomalies. 

• Follow up new project pilot production quality, assist NR quality supervisor to complete new project related quality standards.

• Assist NR quality supervisor to prepare new project related quality documents, mass test production sample data, completed new product characteristics test.

• At least 3 years connector experience and quality experience.

• Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.

• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.

• Hazards and Atmospheric Conditions: Must be willing to adhere to department safety rules and regulations.  May be exposed to noise (required to wear protective gear).  May be exposed to Hazardous Materials & Chemicals (required to wear safety glasses and other protective gear).
