Job title: : TECHNICAL LEAD
Shift: 2A. Jornada comprimida 4:3. Lunes a miercoles y domingo- miercoles (6:00pm– 6:00am)
2B. Jornada comprimida 4:3. Jueves-sábado y jueves-domingo (6:00pm– 6:00am)
Summary/Objective: Lead the technician staff on shift, supporting all Corrective and Preventive daily tasks in the manufacturing areas as well as provide technical support in machine maintenance, checks, configurations, troubleshooting, and appropriate escalation with engineering teams and technical supervisors. Coordinate and support the daily priorities with PCL’s.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the proper use of safety devices by the technical team and oneself. Monitor safety reports and conduct accident prevention walks. Provide the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the team.
2. Collaborate with the technical supervisor to communicate directions with the technical team.
3. Coordinate the schedule of the technical team to ensure appropriate coverage of operational technical requirements.
4. Facilitate and coordinate comprehensive training for technicians.
5. Ensure effective knowledge transfer and communication between shifts.
6. Coordinate and oversee the scheduled preventive maintenance of all assigned machinery, as directed by the Technical Supervisor.
7. Monitor maintenance processes, ensuring proper execution and conducting audits for correctness.
8. Collaborate with production and quality teams to establish priorities and make informed decisions during the shift.
9. Provide hands-on technical support to operations. Assist technicians in problem resolution and escalation.
10. Escalate issues to the relevant technical groups, such as Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and the Technical Supervisor.
11. Schedule regular meetings with direct reports to address general and specific issues, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and information pass-downs.
12. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by upper management.

Required Experience
1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar positions.
2. Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
3. Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
Preferred Education:
- Technical degree or studies in Engineering in the areas of Electronics, Electricity, Electrotechnics, or relevant experience.
Training required:
- On the job training as appropriate.
