Thermal Engineer
Description
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
1. Conduct the wind tunnel test to validate the thermal related products of Samtec.
2. Summarize and collaborate the data and generate an easy-to-read report for the cross-functional members.
3. Support our design and develop team on the thermal tasks of the new and existing products.
4. Support application engineers to satisfy the thermal requests from the customers.
Required Experience:
1. Experience of thermal and flow test and measurement.
2. Fundamental knowledge of thermal and electrical cooling.
3. Logic method for data analysis and root cause analysis.
4. Ability to collaborate with different teams located globally and communicate clearly and fluently in English.
5. Ability to use word process tool to generate comprehensible thermal report and do presentations to the other teams and managements.
6. Have enthusiastic and proactive personality and highly interested in thermal related tasks.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree (prefer) in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on Heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
