Description

Job Title:  GCT Operator

Hours: 5:00PM – 5:00AM; Wednesday Friday

This is a 6 month contract position with intent to hire.  Full time offer will be contingent on performance and business need.

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  1. Have ability to understanding work instructions that apply to the area.  The area is a Wafer Fabrication work cell. 
  2. Read, comprehend and be able to build orders according to information/specifications found on blueprints and travelers/PICS.
  3. The ability to load recipes onto equipment, execute the Operations, monitor toolset operations and perform daily Start-Up / Shut-Down procedures.  Toolsets Include:  Screen Printers, Ovens, Furnace, Samtec Tool Automation, PVD, CMP, Plating Baths and Measurement Equipment as well as other related inspection equipment. 
  4. Become familiar with all equipment and tooling and understand how and why it is used in the assembly process.
  5. The ability to navigate using Desktops, Laptops, and other PC related equipment. 
  6. Comply to industry standard Cleanroom protocols Such As:  ISO 7/8 or Class 10,000.  This includes wearing: Head-Net, Face-Net, Smock, Gloves and Booties during Production Operations. 
  7. Must a have a quality mindset throughout all processes.
  8. Communicate effectively with co-workers (both written and verbal).
  9. Must be willing to pay attention to details.
  10. Maintain process workflow in a lean manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience:

  1. At least One Year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  2. Must have patience with new, tedious processes and have the creative mind to suggest ideas for improved processes and tooling.
  3. Must be willing to pay attention to detail.
  4. Physical Requirements:
    1. Steady hands.
    2. Good eyesight.
    3. Good hand/eye coordination.
    4. Be able to stand for 8 to 10 hrs.
  5. Lifting Requirements: Medium work – Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  6. Hazards and Atmospheric Conditions: Must be willing to adhere to all department safety rules and regulations.

Preferred Education:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Training Required:

  1. On the job training as appropriate.
