Job title:  QA LAB SUPPORT

Summary/Objective

The QA Lab Support role will be assisted to inspect all quality issues related to incoming materials, parts, tools and component used in manufacturing process, subassemblies, in-process, semi-finished or finished products and control of measurement instruments and calibration.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

  1. To respond and measure the samples on incoming materials, semi-finished products, finished products,  tools and components.
  2. FAI samples inspection.
  3. MicroVu Vertex Programming creation
  4. To respond on internal and external calibration and follow up with calibration supplier.
  5. Assist with on the job training as requested
  6. Assist engineer on the sample inspection and qualification
  7. Any other job related duties as assigned by Superior or Management
  8. Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions

Required Experience

  1. 3 years in related / similar position
  2. Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.

Education:

  1. High School Diploma / related technical or equivalent experience.

 

Training required:

 

  1. On the Job Training as appropriate.

 

Languages:  English
