Process Engineer
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Job Summary:
Essencial Functions:
- Coordinate/complete all time-studies on new/existing products and processes as required by Operations.
- Develop current and future-state Value-Stream Maps of new and existing processes and develop a method for identifying and reducing Non-Value-Added labor and other wastes.
- Perform Data analysis related to Productivity/Output/Yield improvement as well as downtime reduction or other business KPI’s.
- Identify and implement method improvements including process, tooling, floor layout, machine, etc. Support/lead process/product transfer requirements and deliverables.
- Use of Lean Manufacturing Techniques such as Push/Pull, kanban, One-Piece Flow, TOC as well as risk analysis using FMEA and process control (SPC).
- Assist and support all local and global satellite facilities in operation-related issues including but not limited to routings, BOM, and operator efficiency and productivity.
- Must work well with all external and internal customers. Able to manage a project portfolio based on priorities and resource allocation.
- Work on continuous improvement projects aligned with KPI’s.
- Any other job-related functions as requested by management.
Requirements:
- Industrial/process engineer baccalaureate or licenciatura degree.
- 5-8 year experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing enviroment o similar experience in a manufacturing environment).
- Professional English proficiency and engineering tech literated.
- Skillful in data analysis using Excel, Minitab.
- Skillfull in problem/root cause analysis.
- Great team work(member/leader) & communication skills.
- Proactive & eager to improve.
- Proeficient when working under pressure.
- HDR Product knowledge(desearable).
- Project management experience (desearable).
- Lean / Value Stream Mapping / Six Sigma studies(desearable).
- Power BI knowledge (desearable).
