FIELD SALES ENGINEER (FSE) – ISRAEL (Hybrid)

To continue and grow this mission, Samtec has a new opportunity for a Field Sales Engineer (FSE) to join the team in Israel.
Functions & Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for turnover within the defined sales area / customer base
- Manage technical design-in cycle
- Acquisition of new key accounts (OEM) and the development of existing customer contacts within the electronics industry.
- Joint customer visits with distribution in your territory.
- Analysis of technical and commercial customer inquiries.
- Identify technical solutions for customers with the help of the Samtec product range.
- Present Samtec and our products at local trade fairs and customer events.
- Regular reporting of sales activities to management.
- Independent maintenance of customer data.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers.
- Carry out monthly / quarterly business reviews on all accounts to measure progress and set key actions for future quarters.
- Track and update all sales leads and open projects on CRM system.
- On-going and regular follow-up activity.
Requirements / Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) / equivalent related technical experience.
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable, ideally, technically oriented sales function.
- Background in component sales, ideally with a commercial focus.
- Knowledge of electromechanics and/or semiconductors is a plus but not required; detailed product training will be provided
- A genuine interest in electronics and technology.
- Must be self-driven and be able to work autonomously to exceed sales objectives within the territory.
- Exceptional follow up skills.
- Business Software skills (MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and CRM).
- Eligibility to live and work in Israel and be able to travel internationally from time to time.
- Language requirements: Hebrew / English (professional proficiency is required).
