ESG Lab Technician

Summary/Objective: The ESG Test Lab Technician’s primary role is to conduct various forms of mechanical/electrical testing on a day-to-day basis.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- To conduct testing in accordance to industry standards and provided test plan.
- Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Review test results to help ensure accurate reporting.
- Perform initial root cause/failure analysis as needed.
- Collaborate with product engineers on test results / setups.
- Assist Test Lab Engineers with various projects (equipment maintenance, setup of new test procedures, documentation updates, assist with training, etc.).

Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a product or process development tech position required.
- Must be proficient in MS Office including: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Lifting Requirements: Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Hazards and Atmospheric Conditions: Exposure to various chemicals while working and requires use of mandatory safety equipment.
- Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
- Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
- Hazards and Atmospheric Conditions: Must be willing to adhere to department safety rules and regulations. May be exposed to noise (required to wear protective gear). May be exposed to Hazardous Materials & Chemicals (required to wear safety glasses and other protective gear).
- CPR/First Aid/AED training
Education:
- High school diploma required. Post high school education (Associate Degree in a technical field) a plus.
