Job Title: Metrology Programmer
Reports To: Bill Broyles
Hours: 8am-5pm, 100% On-Site
Summary/Objective: The Metrology Engineer will be responsible for creating, editing programs for NR/TG and manufacturing including training on released Metrology equipment.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Primary customer is NR/TG with support to Engineering and Manufacturing as needed.
- Create or edit MicroVu or OGP programs.
- Work with stakeholders to understand print intent and fixture requirements for programs
- Complete capability tests for new programs.
- Train the operators or OJT’s how to perform measurements using the automated visual inspection instruments (MicroVu and OGP) and their programs.
- Provide support to manufacturing completing support tickets related to the usage of automated visual inspection instruments (MicroVu and OGP).
- Maintain control of the usage of the equipment and the stock of consumables, spare parts, etc. in coordination with TPG and the Calibration Laboratory.

Preferred Experience:
- 6+ years of Metrology experience (traditional programming experience desirable)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously as priorities can change quickly.
Preferred Education: Mechanical, electrical, electronic engineer or related field (or equivalent experience).
