Samtec is seeking a NR/TG Coordinator to join our team in Colorado Springs. This is a day shift position. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. 

The hourly range for this position is $28.00 to $31.25 per hour. plus applicable bonuses and is commensurate with experience. Samtec may consider internal candidates based on core skills versus direct experience, but with the understanding that the associate would need to be developed into the role and that rate would be adjusted gradually into the range based on the growth trajectory. Standard benefit offerings available are medical (HSA/PPO), dental, vision, hearing, group life, AD&D, short and long term disability, PTO, vacation, EAP, 401k,  other voluntary options along with a collaborative work environment and supportive company culture.    

The NR/TG Coordinator is responsible for participating in the planning, organizing and coordinating of operating procedures for the NR/TG department. 
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities: 
  1. Proficiency in the following systems:  SFC, SGN, QP Suite, Inventory Suite, PICS Admin, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel – specifically pivot tables), Project Tracking System, Power BI, and IE Request System/PLM
  2. Ownership of project open issues to include the following:
    1. Review operator submitted open issues. Feedback may be delivered in person, via email/Teams, or ASC.
    2. Log open issues within Project Tracking System
    3. Communicate with engineering of the issue and an expected completion date
    4. Log corrective action and close Open Issues
  3. Field operator day to day questions and assist operations group to ensure engineering priorities and timelines are being met. This will include managing open actions from engineering sync, driving updates to supervisors and engineers.
  4. Responsible for the following documents:
    1. Optics Transfer Form and review of routings and BOMs for alternate manufacturing sites
    2. Optics NR Beta to Customer Readiness Review
      1. Includes review of ASC data.
    1. Time Studies for NR product
    2. Weekly NR update.
      1. Update should be a summary of open orders with current status and help needed, along with open issues including owners and estimated completion dates
  1. Enter QPs for the department as needed.
  2. PICS management
    1. Interfacing with IE/Product to update PICS - additional documentation required, errors with PICS, updates, etc.
  3. Enter IE Request: routings, rates, BOM, scrap %
  4. Complete FTB summaries to assist in release of new OTPs.

Required Experience: 
  1. Must have 20/40 correctable vision
  2. Capable of lifting 25 LBS. from the floor to your waist
  3. Full use of all digits
  4. Capable of standing and/or sitting for more than 90 minutes up to a full work day
  5. Not suffering from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs
  6. Capable of working until work is complete for the day
Preferred Education:  
  • High School Diploma or GED is required. 
  • College Degree in a Technical Discipline is preferred. 
Training required:
  • On the job training as appropriate
