JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: SIGNAL INTEGRITY (SI) LAB OPERATOR

 

Shift:  Sunday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Reports to:  Mariana Lopez

Summary/Objective:   As the Signal Integrity Operator, you will work within Production and (SI) Engineering to run measurement analysis equipment for both released and qualification products. You are a trusted partner who is sought after for delivering high-quality, useful, and efficient results.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

1.     Take measurements using VNA, TDR and another high-speed test equipment

2.     Execute test plans based on shop order instructions or engineering trials

3.     Follow best practices and methods for high-speed electrical measurement.

4.     Manage test queue per priorities set by management.

5.     Demonstrate precision, attention to detail, and the ability to use software tools

6.Work with quality on potential root cause and corrective action assessments.

Required Experience

1.     1 year experience in Cable area.

2.     Must have a systematic approach to defining and solving problems.

3.     Experience in an electrical test environment preferred.

4.     Communication skills are a must, as this role will interact with multiple different departments.

5.     Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.

 

Education:

  1. Technical degree preferred.
  2. English (Desirable)

 

Training required:

  1.    On the job training as appropriate.
