Job title: INDUSTRIAL MACHINE SYSTEM JUNIOR TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
Reports To: Saiful Adli
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8.00am– 5.00pm
Summary/Objective: The Industrial Machine System Junior Technician Apprentice is responsible for learning various industrial maintenance practices through a 2-year apprenticeship program. Areas of responsibility & knowledge that will be learned includes, but is not limited to, plant safety, blueprint reading, repair and construct new components for machines, machine assembly and maintenance, trouble-shooting of electrical and pneumatics systems, and trouble-shooting of PLC.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Setup up and maintain automated and manual
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on
- Log maintenance and repairs in a maintenance
- Replace, repair and make new components for production
- Work directly with experienced journeyman toolmakers, technicians and electrical engineers. Trade related course work required to 10 months.

Required Experience:
- At least one year of working in a manufacturing environment is
- Must enjoy working with your
- Experience with saws, lathes, mills, and surface grinders is a plus
- Experience with bench fittings and assembly of machinery or engines is a plus
- Experience with PLCs and electrical troubleshooting is a plus
- Must be a self-starter with strong leadership
- Must be willing to work in a high-decibel noise
- Must be able to lift at least 50 from floor to waist on a regular basis
