- Lead technical pre-sales for high-speed interconnect, focusing on Signal Integrity (SI) requirements, constraints, and risk mitigation.
- Own the technical strategy for assigned territory/accounts in Israel, aligning with the commercial plan and coordinating internal resources to drive design-ins and revenue.
- Provide technical support to identify new applications and opportunities with existing and future copper and optical interconnects.
- Understand Customer technical roadmaps, visa-vi industry standards and trends, to summarize and make product solution recommendations.
- Develop and expand relationships with R&D, engineering stakeholders and decision makers at key accounts (data center, HPC, telecom, defense, semiconductor, and industrial), identifying opportunities and converting them into qualified projects.
- Work jointly with Samtec R&D, Product Engineering and Operations to resolve technical issues during and after design-in.
- Execute SI-focused technical activities, including requirements capture, channel/budget analysis, connector/cable selection, stack-up considerations, and review of simulation-to-lab correlation with customers.
- Deliver technical presentations, product training, and customer workshops (e.g., SI fundamentals, high-speed interconnect best practices, and product roadmaps).
- Plan and execute technical engagements such as Tech Days, design reviews, and proof-of-concept/validation activities with key accounts and distribution partners.
- Partner closely with Inside Sales, Product Management, and Applications Engineering to ensure timely technical responses, strong customer experience, and effective opportunity execution.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and activity reporting (pipeline, design-in status, key risks, and next steps) and communicate clearly with management/ local CM, and technical management as necessary.
- Maintain high-quality customer and opportunity data (CRM hygiene, contact mapping, project documentation, and action tracking), and communicate, work closely with management/CM on these topics.
- Lead technical support and enable distribution partners in Israel through joint customer visits, technical training, and opportunity support as required, and work closely with management/CM on these opportunities, to make sure we capture and book the sales opportunities.
- B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Mechanical Engineering is an advantage).
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Signal Integrity.
- Strong knowledge of Signal Integrity design, analysis, and development of high-speed circuits.
- Proven experience in leading projects and managing technical activities in the field of Signal Integrity.
- Broad and in-depth understanding of Signal Integrity concepts, tools, and methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience in optics (Fiber Optics/Optical Transceivers/Optical Systems) are an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in RF (Radio Frequency) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in technical sales, preferably in the field of sales engineer role.
- Strong customer management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
