Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
1. Assist in daily operations of the MIS department, including problem determination, evaluation, and corrections.
2. Phone system support
3. Global User Ticket Entry
4. User Desktop Support for Costa Rica (Operating System, applications, Hardware, external devices)
5. Remote support for Satellite locations (US, Asia, Europe, South America)
6. Procurement functions and relationships pertaining to the necessary hardware and software needed to properly maintain company information systems.
Required Experience:
1. 2 – 5 Years’ Experience in an MIS Support position.
2. Experience in PC Software based IS environment with an emphasis on troubleshooting.
3. Manufacturing experience is preferred.
4. Have 20/40 correctable vision and be able to read a computer monitor of reasonable size for 90 consecutive minutes.
5. Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
6. Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
Education:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Experience can be substituted for educational requirements.
