Job Description: Manager, Foundry Sales

Samsung Semiconductor Inc is a world leader in Memory, System LSI, Foundry, and LCD technologies. We are looking for a Manager, Foundry Sales in our San Jose, CA office. This position will work together with internal sales and marketing teams to support the development and maintenance of foundry business relationships.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Account coordination and execution of daily operations with strong follow-up to solve problems.
  • Demand forecast and planning to drive order fulfillment as well as research to understand market and competitive conditions.
  • Customer relationship and partnership development.
  • Regular on-site customer visits and business reviews.
  • Develop and drive innovation on business processes and transactions, including work flows and documentation.
  • Participate in pricing models and quotes to close sales and drive revenue and profitability.
  • Drive monthly/quarterly customer satisfaction KPI.
You are expected to have a basic understanding of foundry business models, be knowledgeable in semiconductor process technologies, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required Qualifications
  • BS or BE minimum
  • Bachelors of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar from accredited university.
  • At least 2 years of experience of sales or supply chain experience in the semiconductor foundry industry is preferred.

  • Thorough knowledge in semiconductor technology, design, process, and operations; experience working with automotive, mobile and/or consumer devices are a plus.
  • Motivated and detail-oriented; capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of articulating complex concepts and solutions. Demonstrated leadership with good facilitation and negotiation skills to secure support and guide cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
  • General office applications: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; Salesforce
  • Frequent local customer visits. Moderate domestic and international (Korea) travel.

  • MS/MBA/PhD
