High resolution and big screen displays have become essential parts of our daily lives. Future world is perceived to be full of displays on walls, mirrors, appliances presenting all kinds of information. In order to reach that point, however, many challenges need to be overcome.  The Samsung Display America R&D Lab, located in San Jose, California, is currently recruiting world-class engineers who share our "Innovation through Passion" philosophy and thrive in a fast-pace, results-driven environment. You will be part of the systems and algorithms team where you will work on state of the art research projects related closely to the Samsung display products alongside experts of the field. You will also collaborate with Samsung Display Korea and other Samsung R&D centers in Silicon Valley and around the world.



Samsung Semiconductor Inc. is looking for a new member in Foundry Team based in San Diego, CA.  In this role he or she will act as engineering operations interface between Tier-1 US customer and factories to achieve business goals.  

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor product lifecycle & requirements
    • Work closely with customer’s engineering teams to understand & align on the impact of engineering issues and identify/recommend mitigation plans and alternative solutions
  • Drive day to day engineering operation activities with factories – key issues, escalations, etc.
  • Monitor NPI (New Product Introduction) program milestones, test hardware/software release dates, product revisions, quality issues, and manufacturing process changes.  Communicate to internal and external cross-functional teams as needed and minimize the impact to the overall program schedule
  • Maintain & communicate NPI summaries across entire product portfolios and lead weekly review meetings with key stakeholders
  • Support daily PO (purchase order) and DO (delivery order) management



  • BS in technical field/engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain key collaborative relationships across multiple functional organizations and with customer
  • Prior program management experience in customer facing role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10%)
