Job Description: RMA Coordinator – San Diego

Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. (DSA) is a world leader in Memory, System LSI, Storage and Display technologies.  

Job Responsibilities:

Support LCD RMA process from RMA setup to RMA completion for both field and in-process customers. Act as liaison and main point of contact between multiple LCD customers and 3rd party repair centers. Correspond with SDC RMA division to resolve customer related issues including credit RMA for LCD sales made abroad. Manage 3rd party in all aspect of RMA including TAT, Credit, repair invoice and S-Focus system related issues. Handling/Controlling all SVC raw material sales and return to North and South America.

  • Set up new in-process customers for North and South America Regions.
  • Check daily reports from repair center and track TAT from incoming to ship out on daily basis.
  • Issuing RMA# for all customers in South America such as SEDA (VD), KONKA, TCL, etc.
  • Create and submit monthly credit request for all in-process and field VD (Open Cell) RMA including SAMEX and SEDA RMAs.
  • Request credit to SDC via single approval as it’s needed.
  • Oversee and follow up on daily RMA issues between customer and repair centers/SDC.
  • Frequent visits to provide onsite RMA support for Samsung Mexico in Tijuana (VD).
  • Perform quarterly inventory audits (LCD Buffer) at 3rd party repair centers.
  • Report to SDC with monthly updates on SAMEX RMA issues including credit, raw material status.
  • In & Out management for all raw materials (issue PO, SO, DO)
  • Depot (Inventory) Manage – LCD Service Buffer / Material Order, Transfer, and Sale
  • Manage W/H staffs
  • Logistics Manage – Buffer/Material Shipping and Receiving
  • LCD Service Repair Center Manage – Invoice, RC Buffer Manage, RMA TAT Manage
  • Customer Service (HP, Lenovo, NDS, Sony, ETC) – LCD RMA Related Service, Handling VOC
  • Communicate with SDC HQ on issues of SSI LCD Service

 

 Job Requirements

  • BS, or more than 1 year-service experience on Display area.
  • LCD, OLED technology understanding
  • Global travel required (Especially Mexico~ 1 per week), regular local customer visits.
  • Bilingual (English & Korean) for the communication with Captive customers
  • Must have excellent skill with MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Display industry experience preferred.
