Systems Engineer 4 (EAI - 110)
Description
Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
· Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 10 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 14 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
· SIGINT experience.
· Ability to use Microsoft Office suite.
· Ability to work collaboratively in small teams with staff and local SMEs that may include people with non-technical backgrounds.
· Ability to produce, singularly, and in small groups, engineering documents related to data – including but not limited to its structure and format.
· Willingness and ability to frame complex problems into a range of course of actions for the purpose of providing recommended actions to the USG.
Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:
· Technical understanding of design, architecture principles and techniques, data formats and data flow management to take business requirements from concept to implementation.
· Exposure to, and understanding of, cloud technologies.
· Ability to model complex mission workflows for the purpose of identifying core systems and data that are commonly used across many mission workflows.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting to complete assigned tasks within expected.
· Command line experience.
