The Archway is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator.
 
The Community Engagement Coordinator’s focus will be building a dynamic community of supporters through the agency’s volunteer program and community engagement. The Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for managing the agency’s volunteer programs (individuals and groups), speaking on behalf of the agency at community events and fairs, and overseeing all in-kind support throughout the year including but not limited to immediate needs for the agency and all holiday in-kind support programs.
 
This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, creative, and motivated individual to serve as a public-facing member of our fundraising team. This individual will work directly with community members (both individuals and companies) to raise awareness and support for The Archway.
 
Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of applicable work experience, nonprofit experience preferred.
  • LMSW preferred 
  • Experience managing volunteers, preferred.
  • Experience with donor database software, preferred.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking.
  • Ability to think critically, solution oriented and taking responsibility to solve problems and implement ideas.
  • Proven ability to manage effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer proficiency is required, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends
  • Frequent prolonged sitting, occasional walking, stooping, and standing and lifting of up to 40 pounds.
  • Current Texas Driver’s License Required. Must provide proof of automobile liability insurance.
  • Ability to work in a shared office environment effectively and consistently
  • Ability to bring positivity to a shared office space.
