Description

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders across various departments to identify and define their data needs. This includes conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business problems and objectives.

Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights. They will be responsible for creating data models, defining metrics, and ensuring data quality and governance.

Product Development Lifecycle: Manage the lifecycle of data products from ideation to launch. This involves creating user stories, prioritizing the product backlog, and working with engineers and data scientists to build, test, and deploy solutions.

Communication & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business users. They must effectively communicate complex data concepts to a non-technical audience and manage stakeholder expectations.

Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of data requirements, definitions, and business processes. This ensures that the data products are well-understood and can be maintained over time.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Data Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL is essential. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and an understanding of data warehousing concepts are also highly valued.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.

Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business operations and the ability to translate strategic goals into data requirements.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with machine learning concepts, statistical methods, and data engineering principles is a plus.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.

Experience: Prior experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Product Manager, particularly in a data-centric environment, is a key requirement.

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field.
 
Work Environment 
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, phones, and photocopiers.
 
Physical Demands 
This position requires the frequent and repetitive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Hand and finger dexterity is required.
