Description
We are seeking Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring data integrity through solid SQL capabilities. A deep understanding of the insurance lifecycle and experience with Guidewire are critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Data Validation & Analysis: Leverage SQL to understand complex data models, perform joins, and write queries for data validation and reconciliation.
Domain Expertise: Apply a comprehensive understanding of the P&C Policy Life Cycle, claims processes, and various lines of business to meet project objectives.
Technical Bridging: Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring all solutions align with key industry metrics and client standards.
Systems Integration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and system functionality, particularly within insurance platforms.
Required Qualifications
P&C Industry Expertise (Mandatory): Extensive experience in the Property & Casualty sector, with a firm grasp of insurance operations and industry-standard metrics.
SQL Proficiency: Solid foundation in SQL, including the ability to navigate data models and perform data reconciliation (Developer-level coding is not required, but query fluency is essential).
Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to validate large datasets and ensure accuracy across complex systems.
Preferred Skills
Guidewire (GW) Experience: Hands-on experience with Guidewire is a significant advantage and a high priority for our client.
