As a fresher in this role, the resource will work closely with senior SRE’s to learn and implement best practices in CI/CD automation, pipeline build, monitoring, and system reliability. Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure solutions.
- Work closely with development teams to deploy applications efficiently using CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to streamline operations and deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and specifications.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to system emergencies as needed.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies related to SRE and DevOps.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Basic knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and willingness to learn new technologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
